Neeson & Associates through its President and Social Entrepreneur, Kimberley Neeson, is honoured to provide financial support as well as business acumen and knowledge to our community partners. Here are her personal comments with regard to the two charities she has committed to.

PARTICIPATION • ACKNOWLEDGEMENT • COMMITMENT • TRANSFORMATION
Having met with founder David Lockett and his team over the last few years, I feel I have found a place where I (both personally and through Neeson) can make a meaningful commitment not only monetarily, but of best business practices through the donation of my time and expertise acquired through the building of Neeson & Associates. PACT, through its innovative and entrepreneurial model, changes lives -- the lives of high-risk youth who live in our community, who never get a break and are on the verge of becoming life-long criminals. PACT has created many programs for at-risk youth, and these programs provide the opportunity for transformation, for the learning of a new skill, and for a second chance. PACT allows these youth to achieve success – perhaps for the first time in their lives. Through its innovative programs, PACT has been able to provide a meaningful chance at changing a life from a potential recidivist to a contributing member of society, based on a model of funding that is primarily community-based as opposed to government financed, thereby allowing it the freedom to implement and grow programs as needed. I am truly honoured to be a part of this wonderful organization. Watch for future initiatives soon!

RE: PACT
"Dear Kim:
I wanted to write a letter acknowledging both your time and financial contribution over the last year. Specifically, I want to thank you for your support as a PACT Social Entrepreneur..." Read the Full Letter

Neeson & Associates has been working with the Canadian Hearing Society since 1996, providing voice-to-text realtime translation services (also known as captioning or CART) to hard of hearing, late deafened and Deaf consumers. CHS provides valuable resources to its hearing loss clients, including:
- Audiology
- Counselling
- Educational Support
- Employment Services
- Hearing Aid Program
- Information and Public Awareness
Providing communication access to the hearing loss community has been an important part of Neeson’s business since opening our doors, and providing financial and service support to CHS is very important to us. Approximately 10 million Canadians experience hearing loss and the numbers are on the rise given our aging population. CHS plays an important role in our society with the provision of a multitude of services and programs. On a personal note, nothing gives me more satisfaction than having a consumer come up to me and say, “If it weren’t for you and your team being here, I could never have participated at this event.”
