Notetaking for those with a Hearing Loss

There are times when captioning is not a viable option for a variety of reasons – for example, a hard of hearing student in a math class is often better served by a notetaker than a captionist; for some, having a skilled captioner attend is not a financially viable option.

Neeson can provide a skilled notetaker in almost any setting.  Our notetakers:

  • Capture the essence of the spoken word in an accurate manner
  • Provide a viewing screen for the participant
  • Review the notes and provide an updated version to our client via email in Word
  • Stay in role as a service provider to a hearing loss person
