The Ontario Government is once again contemplating the replacement of court reporters in the court, and creating a monitor/typing pool model. Kim Neeson, speaking on behalf of the Chartered Shorthand Reporters’ Association and court reporters in the province generally, was recently interviewed by the Toronto Star and The Law Times with regard to the fatal flaws in the proposed system.
