Neeson provides realtime reporting for the Beaverbrook Art Gallery Arbitration Appeal in Fredericton, NB

Neeson & Associates recently completed providing full wireless realtime court reporting services for the appeal launched by the Trustees of the Beaverbrook Foundation against the Beaverbrook Art Gallery.  The panel, consisting of Edward Bayda, the former Chief Justice of the Saskatchewan Court of Appeal, Tom Braidwood, a retired Justice of the Court of Appeal of British Columbia; and Coulter Osborne, former Associate Chief Justice of Ontario, heard two weeks of submissions provided by members of the law firms Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg, Lax O’Sullivan Scott and Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt.  Neesons provided realtime services at the initial eight-week arbitration in the fall of 2006.  Said the chair, the Hon. Edward Bayda:

“And I next want to mention our intrepid court reporters, Kim [Neeson] and Deana [Santedicola], who kept performing daily miracles […] they must have had some help from some angelic force to be able to keep up with [counsel] and record all he said and then reduce it to script.”
